The legislative president, Ernesto Castro, received in his office the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Zhang Yanhui, with whom he talked about the “mutual respect between both countries.”
The president of the Legislative Assembly, Ernesto Castro, received this Tuesday in his office the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Zhang Yanhui, to discuss bilateral relations between both countries.
“I received in the Legislative Assembly the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Zhang Yanhui, with whom we talked about the friendship and mutual respect of our countries,” Castro posted on his X account, this Tuesday, May 14th.
The Chinese ambassador, Yanhui, gave Castro a letter from the president of the Permanent Committee of the National Assembly of the People’s Republic of China, Zhao Leji.
In the letter, Leji sent congratulations to Castro for his re-election as president of the Legislative Assembly for the 2024-2027 term.
“During the meeting, the ambassador gave me a letter from the president of the Permanent Committee of the National Assembly of the People’s Republic of China, Zhao Leji, in which he sends his congratulations for my re-election as president of this state body,” commented the lawmaker president.
Castro took advantage of his publication to publicly thank the congratulations of the People’s Republic of China. “I appreciate your support and am convinced that we will continue working together for the development of our peoples,” posted the president of the Assembly.

El presidente de la Asamblea Legislativa, Ernesto Castro, recibió este martes en su despacho al embajador de la República Popular China, Zhang Yanhui, para conversar sobre las relaciones bilaterales entre ambos países.
“Recibí en la Asamblea Legislativa al embajador de la República Popular China, Zhang Yanhui, con quien conversamos sobre las relaciones de amistad y respeto mutuo de nuestros países”, publicó Castro en su cuenta de X, este martes 14 de mayo.
El embajador chino, Yanhui entregó a Castro una carta del presidente del Comité Permanente de la Asamblea Nacional de la República Popular China, Zhao Leji.
Leji envió en la carta felicitaciones a Castro por su reelección como presidente de la Asamblea Legislativa para el período 2024-2027.
“Durante la reunión, el señor embajador me entregó una carta del presidente del Comité Permanente de la Asamblea Nacional de la República Popular China, Zhao Leji, en la que envía sus felicitaciones por mi reelección como presidente de este órgano de Estado”, comentó el diputado presidente.
Castro aprovechó su publicación para agradecer públicamente las felicitaciones de la República Popular China. “Agradezco su respaldo y estoy convencido de que seguiremos trabajando juntos por el desarrollo de nuestros pueblos”, publicó el presidente de la Asamblea.
