Félix Ulloa revealed in an academic conversation that the constituents told them that the Constitution established “five years” as the time that the President of the Republic must “wait to present himself as a candidate for reelection” but that the current Constitutional Chamber indicated that now “it is six months”.
The registration of a virtual candidacy from the President would be decided by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal.

Félix Ulloa reveló en un conversatorio académico que los constituyentes les dijeron que la Constitución establecía “cinco años” como el tiempo que el presidente de la República debe “esperar para presentarse como candidato a la reelección” pero que la Sala de lo Constitucional actual indicó que ahora “son seis meses”.
La inscripción de una virtual candidatura del Presidente sería decidida por el Tribunal Supremo Electoral.
